Really great place off the beaten track, it doesn't look super fancy but what they lack in aesthetic they make up for in service, our server was friendly and welcoming. They even gave us information/ tips on a card to help us with our time in Bali. How not to get scammed, where to go and phrases to say in Indonesian. The food was great. Definitely try!
The food was delicious and there's a great variety of local food. The owner is friendly and his warung invites a nice mix of people. Free wiifi and water melon to finish your meal. This is a real wee jewel that you'll revisit if you enjoy the less crowded restaurants. Plus there's no tax.
Great place for very cheap meals real good flavour very friendly just got back from 14 days I ate there 12 nights out 14 owner takes time to make sure everyone is happy and enjoying their meal
Great foods and service. Pork & chicken satay, java red curry chicken, Gado Gado and steamed rice.
Food is okay but staff is always friendly here. Great place for a quick bite and pricing is good as well.
Great food, great prices & great service! It’s a shame to see so many tourist walk straight past this place to go for the Pad next door.Doesn’t have the bells and whistles of the Pad but it is delicious authentic Indonesian food at a fraction of the price of the more fancied Pad and other Western owned restaurants.Do yourself a favour and give this place a try you won’t be disappointed! Ps The beers are ice cold!!
Delicious, cheap, authentic Indonesian food. We got Nasi Goreng, Chicken Curry, Morning Glory Greens & Satay Sticks. All were very yummy although the morning glory greens were our favourite. Service was great! Very friendly and even provided us with some tips on places to visit and things to look out for in Bali. Will definitely be back 👍🏼
The best indonesian restaurant in Bali. Cheap and great. The owner gives some very usefull tips in bali
Great value local delight! This fried rice (nasi goreng) costs the price of a bintang!
Best Warung in Bali! Must visit
Amazing food best beef rendang ever very cheap and good portions
Simple Indonesian spot with good options and great prices. Don't let the decor fool you. The charm is in the meal.
Seriously delicious food. But more. It's not on the main drag (trust googling)While debating the menu you are provided a cool facewasher. The dishes ordered were delicious. (We ate there for lunch & returned for dinner!)A complementary slice of watermelon to finish the meal.
Make this your first meal in Kuta after you check into your hotel. Warung Tujuh is the best Warung in Kuta. The menu might be a little limited but they make up for it with great tasting meals and attentive service. They are a great group of staff and they give you a sheet of useful tips for your stay in Bali. Make this your first meal and you will leave with a good meal, a good time, and a desire to come back.
Delicious food, I love it. One of my favorite warung.. everythings are really tasty.
Great and cheap Indonesian Food
Great cheap local food and honest advice for new travellers. Pork satay is amazing!!
Really good and fast service. Portions are really good and the prices are cheap. Will be coming back here!
Read reviews so thought I'd check it out. Wasn't disappointed, the beef rendang was tasty, a good sized portion, and came with rice, salad and prawn crackers. My waitress was helpful and attentive - a cheap, no frills place with good food - would definitely recommend
Pork satay 7/10, delicious recipe, portion on skewer too small, priced above average, slightly over bbq.
Cold beer, hot food and excellent service!
Great Indo food at great prices. Service is also top-notch, although it did get stretched a little when the place was full up. Went here twice, and would love to go back again when we get the chance.
Amazing food, nice owner, great staff. Would 100% recommend to any other tourists.
Good food and service.
Cute small place with different food then in another places. The food was delicious. Only chicken satay could have more taste.
Very friendly owner, he even provide you with a note of Kuta tourist survival list in where it highlight things to beware of, what can be done and what not in Kuta, recommended transportation and etc.The food serve here are heavenly delicious. I would recommend to try out their most popular dish: Opor (Javanese curry in coconut milk).
Have been here a few times now & never disappoints. Simple space, honest tasty Indonesian food. Good fast service. Friendly staff. (Went to a highly rated warung last night to try something new but it wasn't a patch on this. The shop was fancier but nothing else worthy of the rating.) Other places flashy or large but this is a little gem.
Amazing food, especially the red curry and the noodles.
Prices are okay. Nasi Goreng was okay, not the best I had -bit flavourless- , but a lot for your money, just like Dave said. First time in Bali that I couldn't finish my food.. Girls helping us were friendly and helpful. We like the idea of the paper they give you with some tips about Bali - e.g. what to look out for - and some Indonesian words, really cool!🤙The staff gave people next to us musquito spray and those tourists sprayed it with the wind towards us. A star down wards for not taking attention and one down for the not so good quality of nasi...
Cute little warung. Very generous portion sizes. They give out little laminated cards with basic Indonesian phrases which is great for keeping the kids entertained.
So disappointing.. I came because of the comments saying it's good and cheap; it was tasteless (after 14 days in Bali, I would say it was the meal I enjoyed the less) and not cheap at all. Two good things though : they give you a cold towel and a very good tip and tricks sheet (that's why I give 3 stars and not 2).
Nothing special here. The quality of the food is just average. Pork satay were seasoned and cooked well. The peanut sauce they served them with was pretty bad. Almost tasted as if it was going rancid. Milk shake is just milk and ice with what seemed to be a non-dairy whipped cream substitute on top. Quite disappointing especially for what the charged for it.
Good food and super nice services!!! The price is cheap without tax and service charge. Highly recommend tourists to stop by and try their dishes :)
A true hidden gem that many tourist simply walk past. My wife and I discovered this place after reading all the positive reviews online. Absolutely mind blown after our first take out experience. The food is delicious and the price is unbeatable for the area. We ended up coming back for lunch almost everyday to the point where the lady at the front memorized our order. Make sure to try all three noodle dishes. Highly recommended!
Small hole in the wall with well priced Indonesian food. You won't go wrong here.
What really makes this place is the staff. The woman at the front is incredibly nice and helpful to tourists. She helped us learn Indonesian and gave us tips to avoid scams in Bali. We had fried tofu which was good and fried egg chicken fried rice dishes - warning - don't eat large pieces of pepper haha (I asked for it spicy). The prices were really cheap. Wait staff is friendly and atmosphere is humble yet people-watching is good. Just beer and the like here, but reasonable prices and quality all around. You eat your moneys worth.
Friendly staff, nice food and drink for a good price.
Amazing, amazing, amazing! We ate here four times in three days. Excellent food! Great staff! True culture feels and food.
Extremely delicous and good pricesYou have to try
Best restaurant in Indonesia.Definitely deserves 5 stars. The Indonesian food is the crown jewels. As well as the vibe.
Tasty, cheap and authentic food!! And the staff are super friendly too. They even give you a card with some Balinese sayings and travel tips to read over while they prepare your food. We got 3 dishes and 2 drinks and it came to $20aud. Definitely recommend the Beef Rendang!
Excellent food great service and very friendly staff
Charming little Indonesian warung. Food is fantastic. Staff very friendly.
Curry was ok but the flat noodles were so overcooked that you had to eat it with a spoon. Also prices were really high and almost double some other places. I don’t mind paying for quality but this place isn’t worth it.
Delicious food at all hours of the day for a good price. Amazing service & super friendly staff
8/10 in generalAs close to what Bali used to be in the 80's ... just better food.Hidden, back lanes of Legian, and a clean place to eat.7/10 for their Prawns Nasi Goreng, 8/10 for their Corn Fritters.9/10 for their juices and Bir Bintang.Good value for money and Easy to enjoy.
Good curry good price good service
Opor and Kare with Tofu and Tempeh were delicious, favourite meal of our trip so far. Perfect spot for vegetarians and big portion sizes. Had a watermelon juice too which was very refreshing. Drinks can be made without sugar which is a massive plus. Very reasonable prices (under $10 AUD for 2 mains and a drink). Would recommend to anyone!
Friendly staff, massive portions, great food, 2 big mains and 2 drinks came to IDR 181000, highly recommend!
Chanced upon this little gem of a place in our last night at Bali. We went there just a few minutes before closing time, but the owner was gracious enough to let us in for dinner. Super friendly and genuine bunch of crew here. Food was top notch and prices were very cheap. Had the nasi goreng fried rice and ice cold bintang beers, which was a perfect way to end our trip here. Highly recommend this place if ur looking for cheap and tasty eats with friendly service.
